Der vierte Festivaltag führte das Publikum an zwei außergewöhnliche Leipziger Orte: den historischen Festsaal des Altes Rathaus und das monumentale Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
Beide Spielorte boten eindrucksvolle Kontraste: Während der Saal des Alten Rathauses mit seiner historischen Intimität überzeugte, entfaltete sich im Völkerschlachtdenkmal ein nahezu monumentaler Klangraum.
Gerade diese Verbindung von Musik und Architektur macht einen besonderen Reiz des Festivals aus. Das klassische Saxophon zeigte sich dabei einmal mehr als vielseitiges Instrument, das unterschiedlichste Räume und musikalische Kontexte zu füllen vermag.

Day four of the festival brought audiences to two remarkable historical locations in Leipzig: the grand hall of the Altes Rathaus and the monumental Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
Each venue offered a distinct atmosphere. The historic hall of the Old Town Hall provided an intimate concert setting, while the monumental architecture of the Monument to the Battle of the Nations created an impressive and powerful soundscape.
This connection between music and architecture is a defining feature of OVERTURE, highlighting the versatility and expressive potential of the classical saxophone.
